LUMINARIES OF SKIN HEALTH

Somewhere between the serum that promised everything and the facial that changed nothing, people stopped expecting much from the skin industry.

Then they walked into a clinic where the first hour is spent understanding their skin rather than selling to it, where the clinician remembers what they said at the last visit, and where the plan comes with an honest timeframe attached. Nearly all of them say some version of the same thing afterwards: this feels different.

Luminary Melbourne was built so that feeling would be the standard, not the surprise.

 THE LUMINARY DIFFERENCE

Everyone deserves exceptional care.

Every plan at Luminary begins with a consultation because your skin deserves to be understood before it's treated. An OBSERV scan shows what's forming beneath the surface, a touch analysis tells us what a camera can't, and what follows is chosen for your skin alone, with the honest timeframe and any downtime named up front. Skin takes time. We consider saying so a point of pride.

There's a moment in every Luminary facial, usually somewhere under the LED light, when clients stop keeping track of the steps and simply drift off. Their skin keeps working. So does their clinician. That moment is our whole philosophy: results and rest were never meant to be traded against each other, and here you'll never be asked to choose.

The treatments behind that moment draw from two worlds that most clinics keep separate. Luminary is the only Australian clinic offering all four holistic facial methods, the Dr Vodder method of lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha Fusion, Qi Beauty and Advanced Buccal Facial Sculpting, practised alongside clinical technology chosen with the same rigour.

Multiple industry awards have followed, including Australian Clinic of the Year 2024 and 2026, each judged on the things you can't see from the street: care, consistency and results.

MEET NICOLETTE

Luminary Melbourne, founded by the dedicated Nicolette Kocsi.

Nicolette Kocsi's training stretches from New York to Australia, under some of the most respected names in skin: Cecily Braden, Melanie Grant, Ashley Jo. She returned as one of the first Australians certified in all four holistic facial methods she'd crossed the world to learn. What she brought back is easiest to understand from her treatment bed. Clients describe the same surprise: hands this gentle aren't supposed to be this exact. Nicolette treats with a clinician's precision and a therapist's touch at once, reading the skin as she works and adjusting each step to what it tells her, because she has never believed skin heals by force. It responds to being understood, treated from within, and given the time it needs.

She founded Luminary in November 2020 to make that way of working the whole clinic, built on a conviction the industry had tested for years: a client is a person before she is a booking, and expertise means nothing without care attached. Every clinician who treats here is trained in her methods and held to her standard.

That philosophy has taken Luminary from a sole-operator clinic to one of Australia's most recognised skin clinics, twice named Australian Clinic of the Year at the Australian Beauty Industry Awards, alongside national and state industry recognition. Nicolette's work has also taken her beyond the treatment room as an industry speaker, educator and contributor, sharing the approach to skin, touch and client care that has become the Luminary standard. These days the clinic shares her with its newest and smallest boss, her daughter Aurora.

If you've spent years guessing at what your skin needs, the first thing we'll do is simplify. One consultation, one plan, and a team who'll remember your skin and your name.

MEET THE TEAM
The people below chose skin the way Nicolette did, because someone's skin once changed how they felt about themselves, and they've never forgotten what that feels like from the client's side of the bed. Whoever you book with, you're in the hands of people who treat your skin like it belongs to a person. It does.

EMILY - SENIOR DERMAL CLINICIAN

Emily has spent more than a decade in the industry, the last five years specialising in skin, and holds both a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and a Bachelor of Dermal Science. In 2026, she was recognised as a finalist for ABIA Dermal Clinician of the Year and at the Best in Skin Awards. The study matters, but here's what it looks like in the treatment room: Emily can tell you exactly why your skin is behaving the way it is, then build a treatment around it, often combining modalities most clinics keep separate.

Her favourite thing to perform isn't one treatment. It's the customising itself, layering and pairing treatments until the plan fits your skin precisely.Emily's path here was personal. Her own experience with acne shaped how she practises: she knows what it's like to sit on the other side of the treatment bed, which is why her clients consistently describe feeling heard before they feel treated. With Emily, the treatment is only half of it. The other half is leaving more confident about your skin than when you arrived.

Claire brings more than ten years of experience from leading medi-spas and luxury wellness clinics, and in 2026 was recognised as an ABIA Beauty Therapist of the Year finalist. Her specialty is advanced skin therapies, but her philosophy is simpler: personalised care, education and trust, in that order. Claire believes an appointment should do two jobs at once, moving your skin measurably forward while being the calmest hour of your week. Her clients would tell you she delivers both.If you're the kind of person who wants to understand the why behind every recommendation, book with Claire. She'll walk you through all of it.

SARA - 2IC & DERMAL THERAPIST

Sara holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and an Associate Degree in Dermal Therapy, and is in the final year of her Bachelor of Dermal Science on her pathway to Dermal Clinician. Five years into the industry, she was named ABIA Junior Therapist of the Year in 2026 and won Sensitive Skin Transformation at the 2026 Circadia Awards, following previous ABIA and Best in Skin Awards finalist recognition.

Those accolades aren't a coincidence. Sara's own experience with acne and inflammation taught her that skin heals from within, and her approach reflects it: corrective and nurturing at once, pairing evidence-based dermal practice with a holistic understanding of how skin functions. She is especially regarded for her manual lymphatic therapy and Buccal Facial Sculpting, and for treatment plans and product prescriptions built around one person's skin at a time.Clients describe Sara's presence as calm and kind. Her results speak for themselves.
